How are you Moonbeams? I never give my blog enough love. And these past two weeks have been no different. I feel like I am always in a blur these days... So many things to do, so little time to do them. I forget to breathe, I forget to eat, I forget to connect. I get lost in my thoughts, my should's, my daydreams.
I have to admit too, that I am a very very very cluttered and messy person. A long time ago I read a relationship book while I was going through a bad break-up and the only thing I remember from this book is "Messy bed.. Messy head." And that is definitely the state I am in right now. I feel completely scattered in my life right now because my place is a total disaster. It has been causing stress on my relationship with Jimmy too. And with our opposite work schedules it is hard to clean when one of us is tired or away. And I would rather be spending time with him when we can instead of cleaning. BLAGH. The picture above of my little boho sitting area? That lasted about 20 minutes... I don't know how it happens but I am always messy and cluttered. I would blame it on house fairies up to mischief, but it really is me going through creative projects and never cleaning up. Or being lazy and not putting clothes away. Yada yada yada.
I would love to know how you guys stay on top of your messes? Do you have routines? I smudged my place last night which really helps, but it doesn't clean up the mess! Anyway please leave any advice in the comments! I would love that!
In other news, I made a sea salt spray for your hair On the Bohemian Collective as part of the Chakra Beauty Series for the Solar Chakra. I am really happy how it came out! It works really good even for my long and really heavy hair! And the second magazine is coming out on May 1st, Beltane! It is so so beautiful! I am so honored to have 2 articles in it! They are short and sweet, but the rest of magazine is gorgeous too! I can't wait to get it in my hands!
I also want to say thank you for everyone's support during my Earth Day sale in my Etsy shop! Not only did I donate a portion of sales to Oceana to protect our precious waters, but I also donated to Red Cross for the Nepal Earthquake Relief. Click these links to donate! Even if you cannot donate, please light a candle and send your prayers to those in Nepal. It is completely devastating, but I so grateful the world is coming together to help those in need.
